Terriers modified, coffincar padded up

The track-supplied terrier - the so called "coffin car of Somerset" has been padded out with extra armour as standard.

Although it has been strongly denied on several occasions that the Evan Autoduel Association (EAA) actively promote driver deaths in order to boost their ratings, pressure has been mounting regarding their design of several standard deathrace vehicles - in particular the terrier.

Matters came to a head in the aftermath of this evening's professional deathrace, in which most of the drivers perished within seconds of the 'weapons allowed' horn sounding.

Markus Korivak had this to say when asked for comment:
"Certainly a welcome change, but it came too late for many deathracers."

David Clark, leader of the Kestrels, said "Good to hear, but I'm still not going to get in one of those things. Big guns and tiny cars are not a good mix."

When asked if he thought the design of the car was bad for deathracers, Clark elaborated. "I'm where I am today because of Terriers. Other more senior Kestrels tried racing Terriers and got themselves killed. Now I'm the oldest surviving one."
