Be respectful of each other and do not be rude or offensive. This is only a game, after all, and we're all here to have some fun.

The forum moderators have the right to edit or remove forum posts which are considered to violate these basic rules. Additionally, formal warnings and in-game fines may be applied to offending players, at the discretion of the developers. Except in extreme cases, you won't be fined without being warned first.

Note also that all in-game chat in the lobby and 3D game itself is logged. Although we rarely look at these logs, be aware that they exist for us to check if there are any complaints about the behaviour of specific players. You are absolutely within your rights to do whatever you wish with your cars and weapons - even if the other players don't like it. But being unnecesarily verbally rude and offensive isn't allowed.

May 2010, clarification of rules of conduct in the forum, and of the role of Moderator-Marshals in this:

1. In forum posts, personal attacks/insults aren't acceptable
2. The decision about whether a particular post does in fact qualify as a personal attack/insult is made by the marshals/moderators
3. These posts will be deleted and/or censored by the marshals/moderators
4. Persistent offenders may be 'sin binned' from the forum for a period of days

Robust discussion is perfectly acceptable, of course - but it's not allowed to sink to slanging matches. These are upsetting to the players involved and also derail useful discussion.
