· After consideration, I have reverted the recent change which reduced the detail you get about enemy car?s armour. It?s now back to being fully accurate.
· Team flags, event chat, and team chat will now all be flushed out after each event · I have made the turin?s tyres perform better while skidding (they are after all humongously wide), which should help the cornering problems reported by DV. · I have made the downloading of multiple decals faster. The slowness is actually caused by a low-level throttling of the network speed by the game engine; this was the very reason I wrote the separate Java application for patching. What I have done is download multiple decals simultaneously, so you?ll see no improvement if you only needed 1 decal, but you will if you needed more. · New skins for the Bullet and Turin (thanks nekojin!) · Subscribers can now upload and use custom car skins. Note that for each you also need to upload a max 20x20 pixel GIF to use as the website ?swatch?. Your uploaded skins must be exactly the same width/height as the existing skins for the chassis type you?re working with. |

Sweet work as always sam, i'll give the turin a run in a min and see how it goes. Also creating a sweet little skin for my eaton right now ![]() Edit: Question, with custom skins do they need to be approved before they will show up in the repaint section? |

Nice skin DV! You're the first to have one ![]()
Yes. And decals do too (I think I forgot to enforce that previously). Just in case they're offensive or are blatantly copied from another player or from a prestige skin that's supposed to be hard to find. |

Cool thought so, 2 more questions just to keep you busy :P
1, I am guessing the max amount of custom skin is 3 the same as decals? 2 Will the decal option really be needed now that we can create custom skins or are you going to leave it in for people who don't want to mess around with that type of stuff? |

Yep.
I'll leave it in. It's simpler to do and allows you to put your 'branding' on vehicles of all different types rather than just 3 types of chassis. |

very nice, but decals still keep crashing my client (running windows client in linux), no insult or pressure intended. | ||||

It crashes during the new 'Downloading Decals' stage? |

Sam - when I installed it on a computer for my son, I just zipped up the folder and copied it to his desktop. Perhaps an option for that would be an answer? JL |
