Derff Posted Aug 27, 2025, 12:30 pm	There's nothing telling you how rep works.... I want to scout to improve my rep, but I cant pass in through the city gates to avoid a combat on the way in. I have a bounty, no way to recover it and no way to run from a city gate encounter. What am I meant to do here? scout and bring back nothing, run every time? How do I sustain that in any way shape or form?
PvtParty Posted Aug 27, 2025, 1:43 pm	You don't need to go into town on a return... drive away and get to escape distance (350m) - it still counts the same as actually going into town. If you don't engage, you won't worsen your rep, but if they get too close, you might not have too much choice. Knowing spawn locations is an advantage here. Scout against enemies of the Civs to bring your SS rep back up. Better yet, if you can kill gangers from those enemies and get Hero Points, you can use them to improve your rep. Drop me a DM in the lobby any time you want to scout. I'm usually up between 14:00 and 07:00 server time. I have a pretty easy quick start system where you can be making 1.5 mil a week within a couple weeks. Once you get the swing of things, you will realize having a bounty can be a good thing, extra loot

I come with a real issue and question and basically get told "yeah you dont know how to play".... ok.... no shi sherlock.... so where's the guide, where's the route to actually learn?.... Right, you guys learned ages ago and now know all the tricks.... well guess what? I dont.... does that make me an idiot in your mind, go ahead.... does that make it mre or less likely t attract new blood to this game or just metricly piss people off?.... you tell me. I asked a question.... I cant get back into the city gates because of reputation... and nobody has a clue what the answer so so... i guess sucks to be me... My akser isnt "oh well I'll jsut endure".... my answer is "#### it"... and rather than have a new player you dont have another player and this game never  grows. Well don guys.

PvtParty gave you answers here as well, and since you claim he didn't when we can all see his response means you ignored that as well All the guides I made were removed for making the game too easy, so it's not anywhere on the forums or wiki. You never sent a DM about scouting and I been on the last 24 hours. So, crying that theres no one to scout with is nonsense. Theres 2 types of people, Those who just complain, and those hungry for solutions.
