Valiance Posted Apr 14, 2024, 9:59 am	I have a 48 year old gangert, deteriorating fast. Strength of 16. She is the gunner in my only laser car. She is currently: Sniper 2 Laserfire 3 Moving Targets 3 Rapidshot 1 I /thought/ Laserfire capped at 3 levels, but I appear to be able to choose it. Should I choose Laserfire 4 or Sniper 3 for her last remainig years? Or go completely different and choose Rapidshot (She is G205, LG104, Ballistics 117, HG87, but I think her HG has been over 100 and dropped when I stopped playing for a while, so I think I'm quite far away from getting Sniper via HG. I think she'll be dead of old age before I get there - this is my last shooting spec for her, I think) Basically, there's been so much discussion about laserfire versus sniper that I've lost track of where we are.
*Longo* Posted Apr 15, 2024, 7:02 pm	Laser 4 is the best you can get. You can keep picking, but anything above this is a total waste of time (I have tested with 2 laser 5 guys). Having said that, for a legit laser ganger, you want at least laser 4/sniper 4. Id probably go with the sniper 3/laser 3 with myself, in your situation. You wont charge as well, but you will hit better and from a better distance. Good luck
RANXEROX Posted Apr 16, 2024, 9:03 am	I have a laser 4 and a laser 5 guy in the same twin laser car and laser 5 recharges quicker and does more damage than laser 4 does. and at least 3 other players told me that laser 6 is the best for recharge rate. Maximum range for a laser is 300 meters. I seen gangers get to their 70's so the real question is what is their str and dex. if str or dex are 1 or 2, they might die in 4 weeks.
Valiance Posted Apr 17, 2024, 11:23 pm	Thank you, that is helpful. I decided to go for laserfire 4, and hope to get sniper 3 from HG. but that's mainly because I've never had a laserfire 4 before - I think Longo may have been right. So time to keep her alive and training, then.

I’ve actually discussed this with Sam. Val, please refer to my comments. I regularly run 5-6 laser crews
Valiance Posted Apr 18, 2024, 6:29 pm	Thank you, Longo. It's a shame that after Laserfire 4 the option doesn't disappear. I wanted to test if it was faster recharge, rather than more accuracy. So I went for Laserfire 4. I took Ranx's advice that she might actually get to live long enough to reach 250, at which point I'll choose Sniper. So my target is Laserfire 4, Sniper 4. But I'm getting there via Laserfire 4/Sniper 2 rather than Laserfire 3 / Sniper 3. And then she'll probably die of old age :-)
