*Longo* Posted Mar 13, 2021, 3:45 pm	It’s needs to be a neutral tile, or you need permission from the camp owner who controls the hex to build there. Best time to build would be end of year when camp war tile decay occurs, opening up a lot of neutral tiles. Costs are listed on the top topic here in the forums. Camps are a lot of work to build and maintain. You sure you just don’t want to join one ? You may find one for sale already built also. Maybe post in marketplace ? I might consider selling my BL small one if your interested. Good luck!

Zazul Posted Mar 14, 2021, 5:49 pm	you need a substantial number of skilled mechs to run a camp successfully, the playerbase is fairly small these days so starting your own is a pretty difficult task. However joining an established camp with veteran owners can give far more rewards for a much smaller cost and youll still have gangers available in town to play with

I suggest joining 'The Kingdom Of Longo' If you help in leagues, and get lots of resources to camp- you'll get more rewarded than starting on your own- and you'll have some of the best players in the game on your side!
FireFly Posted Mar 14, 2021, 10:47 pm	You're not garantued to get the farmlands as a scout map if that's all you want from it. Best bet is to ask around and see who has it as their scouting map and join their camp. I'm sure they wont mind the extra fame.
*Rev. V* Posted Mar 15, 2021, 5:21 am	Lemme just put it to you this way. In the scenario you have described- Ease of scouting < amount of $ and TIME you will spend to buy and maintain a camp. Lots of vets DON'T own camps. There is a reason for this. I would suggest joining one in the SS area, and donating resources to it. It will give you the same chances of pulling NFL as owning a camp in the same area, but with FAR less of an investment of time and $.

As I said before I have 2 Goals in CoE:  Prevent fame going to the Embassy by whatever strategy works best (ie: getting people I call my Friends like Joel and Brun into top spots to hold Embassy low, and secondly to make money.  I don't need the fame.  I race hard to the finish, then wait for Joel or Brun if I need to.  I don't wait on people who bring unnecessary and questionably race worthy vehicles like Trash Trucks or Fire Engines because they get so far behind...  especially when that players is not in contention for spots 1 through 3.  and double especially when those people blast others who are no threat to their standings and blame it on not knowing the other's intent even after that person told them. If the intent is to cause a DNF I would drop 10 spikes, not just 1.

Refer to the last part of your previous comment.

But an ally backstabbed me in the last race, then he failed to accomplish the task we had been trying to accomplish all season and set us both back. which is why I get upset when people put themselves before tactics, or their personal gain before strategic victory. maybe I'm just too much of a team player, idk.

I know you love me!  I didnt take it too personal.  Not enough to ram you harder than I normally would!  lol without my brother around to crash into I have to pick the next best thing!  I been trying to get him to come back but so far he has only said hello in a marshal forum and not on a track!
