Actually I'll be posting on this and on Dynamic Factions and conquest thoughts in the near future.

Been playing Elite Dangerous and enjoying the Background Simulation immensely. It would make DW amazing to have something similar.

Things that would make things better to me:

- Decrease skin prices & Allow for high-res skins

- Options to grind any stuff somehow. Some kind of NPC camp/factories that for the right price (and components)(probably double the time and price in components) they could manufacture you "anything". So you don't have to bug "that" vet player to stop his production to make that something for you.

- Higher quality on southern gangs gangers. I'm consistently meeting higher specced guys around SS than in BL.

- A newbie friendly area. Free of slavery, no-scout required wise, with favourable odds (make cap skill learning at 30 to limit it somehow). So new players can do their thing (learning the game) without the need of a babysitter and/or help.

- I remember a PA Racers long thread about changes in races/town events that felt awesome. I vouch for it again.

This is number 1.

Not only for immersion...but because a busted economy causes many problems.

I understand this is extreme difficulty to fix.  But if sam was to spend even one more hour on DW it should be tweaking commodity sales in towns.

Implement all the new vehicle weapon and hand weapon icons I sent him.
;)

High res skins would be sweet too.

Anyone play Elite Dangerous?

The way factions and economy work in that game is really engaging despite it being mostly meaningless in the grand scheme of things (ie: they don’t REALLY matter as a whole and don’t REALLY change how other players experience the game, however, for those involved in “playing” the background simulation off each other, it becomes very deep and engaging)
