balance...

...in games is hard. In 20 years of designing games (did i mention my award?) i have come to the conclusion that the balance of risk and reward is the hardest thing to do. Ask any DnD or WHFRP GM who allowed their characters to become demi-gods (or accidentally killed them in their first encounter).

In general DW has done a good job of this. Sure it suffers from the usual issue that the more successful you become the easier success becomes... but not nearly to the extent of other games. This has been despite the small dev team and Sams willingness to try to accommodate player views.

So whatever gets done with tile decay is fine by me. Some of the scenarios disproportionately affect the Vault. If we get one f them we will just enjoy playing underdog. Some less so. If we get one of those we will feel blessed.

Mostly lets just have a bit of appreciation for the astonishing amount of work Sam is putting into a game that is not exactly cash cow of the year.
