One of the worst things we have seen happening in camp wars is a camp wasting the time of another camp's players. We all have busy lives and families, and making people turn up for a combat which was never going to be properly played isn't acceptable.
Some of the ways this has been done have already been officially called out as against the rules (e.g. conceding very late.. there's no excuse for this when the game has given you 7-9 days to organise yourself and your allies). However I'm getting sick of plugging holes just to have people find some other work around. What matters is the intention of the player, not the specific way they do it. For example yesterday a camp fielded a single musclecar in a combat and ran away, with no attempt to compete. They even stated that this was to avoid the 'late concede' penalty. This wasted the time of 4 or 5 opponents who turned up, as well as wasting their time arranging logistics. So, in future please contact me directly if you wish to complain about the behaviour of your opponent in camp wars. Please don't waste my time by contacting me over things like someone killing your gangers, because of course this is all part of the game. What is *not* part of the game are things like time wasting, as above. I'll investigate each case, and if necessary (or if requested) I'll get a second opinion from X Man. Judge's decision is final, etc. I'll post in here clarifications/precedents as they happen, so that you will see examples of what has been or has not been deemed as poor behaviour. Punishments will begin leniently (small loss of CR in following battles, small loss of camp fame) but for repeat offenders these will increase to various other camp-related punishments such as losing hexes, buildings, etc. Please bear in mind that I'm very reasonable, unbiased, and I very much dislike this sort of thing. There's no reason to be concerned about this if you're not behaving like an ass. |

How about the ridiculous non stop slanderous B.S that occurs in chat sometimes.

Muting might be better in those circumstances. I didn't think of it in today's event. Must remember to.. |

Muting does not help with lying and slander. | ||

Joel has a point.. if it can be demonstrated that the things someone says about another player are untrue then i see no reason why you shouldn't be willing to penalise them (if it can be shown that there is an effect in game - otherwise that is what the courts are for). |
