I just added code to run the Autofix system after town events as well as after wilderness travel/scout. Let me know if any glitches appear..

Sorry for the lobby (and town events) going a bit crashy today. It was caused by this patch. Hopefully ok now.

Just a heads up, this doesn't work anymore? I don't think it ever actually worked.

It worked for me when I tried it.
I just checked the sequence of events, though, and I think it could be a timing issue. At the moment, the gameserver tells the master server that it's closing, and then applies vehicle damage to the database. The master server applies autofix when it's told that the gameserver is closing. So this may or may not happen before the damage has been applied. I'll take a look at changing this sequence. |

OK, I've moved the code that saves vehicle damage and character injures to database so that it happens right before the request to close down happens, rather than right after.
So hopefully autofix will work now in town events. Note though: autofix happens after the gameserver closes; so if your vehicle exited early, you'll have to wait for autofix to kick in. |

I'll have no choice but to gather the townsfolk with our pitchforks and torches if this doesn't work! |

Its working fine for me | ||

This fix also works well for me.
However I always wondered why my 'Damaged Tires' do not get replaced with new or better tires, I usually have plenty of loose loot tires and have to check my scout vehicle tires for damage and replace them with the perfect tires I have looted after returning to town. It seems weird as my vehicles armor, ammo and repairs are made but the tires are still damaged. Can someone advise? |

As far as I remember, tires are only auto replaced with the same tire type. If you don't have of that type in stock, it will not replace them.

Nods to X-Man, Yes all Tires of the same type.
Grimm Sykes Posted Apr 28, 2020, 3:59 pm |
Tires should be left in cargo, when cargo is removed, or at least 4 of a specified type
ShawnFireDragon coldmolasses@live.ca Posted Apr 28, 2020, 5:02 pm |
Looks to Grimm. There are times I may have a dozen off road tires all at 100% from looting in my cargo when returning to town. When I look maybe one of my scout vehicles have damage to the tires after being hit with some rocket fire in the event. The Mint tires are there and the damaged tires are still on my vehicles.

I've added code so if it can't find any in your lockup, it checks the vehicle's own cargo for tyres. I haven't pushed this out to the automated autofix process yet, so can you verify it works for you using the manual autofix button first?
My hunch is that most people set the 'remove cargo' flag on, with the result that your problem doesn't happen to them. |

Sounds Ace. I will monitor how things go and report back.
Thanks again. |

what i meant was...
I have all my travel cars set up with 4 spare tires. when i get to town i like my cargo to be removed but those 4 tires i dont want removed. however when i am scouting, and i return to town, i want the tires i looted to be removed. In other words, the ability to retain x number of tires in cargo, but have all other cargo removed. Like if you have reload weapons set, it does not remove ammo from cargo |

I had a scout and my BPU had some damage to its off-road tires. I had looted some tires and I had stored those in my lorry while returning. When I returned to town my BPUs tires were replaced.
Great to see the auto-fix feature now replaces my tires with loot. Thanks Sam, you rock !!! |
