Made the poll with consideration of some recent talking points.

Please pick most appropriate. (Like if you own a camp please pick a camp
mentioned option)

I think that this is a great idea. Even if tweaks need to be done, I am interested in seeing how this plays out and participating in it.

I will be participating. But for me, scheduling will be my biggest issue. All the other stuff I am sure will be worked out for the best for everyone.

One thing to bring up. Why is everyone so fearful at losing a ganger or vehicle? I see scouts returning and lobby chat among the players show that there were losses or FB Darkwind posts of the same casualties. Most players are mildly upset and have the "we'll get them next time" attitude. But if it happens by another player (and it is rare), all hell breaks loose! Does everyone really think the AI is more forgiving or lenient when it comes to battles??

Does everyone realize that respecting resigning is basically the general practice done by about 99% of the player base?? The AI could care less if your guys die and car blows up. Everyone understands what goes into raising your characters and thats why the majority of PVP type of events can have a civil ending without losses.

My suggestion to everyone is to at least participate once and give it a shot. Things are not always as bad as you make them out to be. Ask the players who I had to help and convince to go to morgan that said its too hard and my guys wont have a chance. Most of them are still around and having a blast there!

You make a good point X. And my dues in Morgan appreciate it

Because being griefed by AI is waaaay less personal and painful than being griefed by a human. One is a game. The other is about knowing that you could have avoided it entirely by not engaging in PvP

I also don't think I'll ever play. I suspect that this is endgame content for about 20 players. I totally get why Harry and Sam want to do it (it's fun to make cool new stuff), but a purely commercial / biggest bang for the buck, it doesn't make sense to me.

Then again, if Sam were thinking that way, he'd never had made Darkwind :-)

Yeah, this is my biggest concern. But you never know, it could boost the game in the medium-long term.  And while it's true DW hasn't made me rich, it has done ok financially.. it hasn't been a total waste of my time.

That's what happens if you click to view the results before voting.. you lose the ability to vote. Tell me what you want to vote and I'll add it manually.

Yea its what I did when I made the poll, I forgot about that.

Plus since I was first to see it I couldn't see if I screwed up the poll.

So I didn't vote, maybe that's just fine lol

It is a game, taking this too personal ruins the fun. Everyone knows the kind of game this is and whats at risk whether its against the AI or Player. We all play in the same sandbox. Sometimes you are going to get sand kicked in your face. You can either kick some sand back or sit in the corner and pout. Its a lot more fun kicking back!

I choose not to play PvP. Which also works. :-)

Getting sand kicked in your face by the AI is more dangerous than a player in my opinion.

Polishing a shotgun with his back to a corner, an Engineer radiates readiness.

“.. it’s ..Happening..” greets a younger Angel, visibly excited, pistol in hand.

“..mmhmm.” Hums the older Engineer.
