*The X Man* Posted Jul 8, 2018, 3:21 pm	After reviewing past league participation and player opinions, here is a poll to help determine the best solution for the 6 mini leagues (Somerset Winter Warmup, Somerset Spring Challenge, Elmsfield Summer Classic, Elmsfield Two Guineas, Gateway Autumn Extravaganza and Gateway Winter Meltdown). Attendance has dropped, but still gets some player entries. So what would be the best proposed change? All comments welcome to help make the best choice.
Joel Autobaun Posted Jul 8, 2018, 9:44 pm	The SS ones are currently weekend and best attended. So SS might be helping. Perhaps we make one of the gateway or elms all weekend. See how it goes. The two leagues that are all weekday are definitely poor attendance. NPC always win them. Thanks for opening this up again X.
Joel Autobaun Posted Jul 15, 2018, 5:51 pm	4 votes seems about right :/ So how about make elms classic all weekend events. Change Elms two guineas, and gateway extravaganza to half weekend events. Leave gateway as is. OR all weekend. My suggestions are based on the votes. I would rather just all weekend.

Danterran Posted Jul 18, 2018, 1:20 am	Very much in favor of shifting to weekends! I'd actually be able to attend more events without trying to find a way to get out of work

*The X Man* Posted Aug 3, 2018, 5:45 am	OK, Sam has made the changes to the leagues so they will now be available during the weekends. These changes affect the two mini leagues that are in both Elms and GW. Saturday and Sunday times will be different to allow more time zone versatility for participation. The SS leagues will remain the same. Once the new game year changes and the leagues populate, I will verify changes and have any potential errors corrected before the league actually starts. I will look to you all for comments and suggestions on the new format. We will reevaluate at the end of the season to determine if any furthers changes or tweaks are necessary.

*The X Man* Posted Aug 6, 2018, 5:12 am	Easiest way to explain, it is like COE. But instead of 2 races during the weekend, there are 6. Scoring is also the same same as COE. Score is the average of points earned for the week.
PA Racers Posted Sep 16, 2018, 8:48 pm	the new scoring system is flawed! Need to average per event, not week. If you were looking for more competition anyway. As it is now you will only need to run 1 race a week to win league, when before had to run all 4 races.

*The X Man* Posted Sep 17, 2018, 4:26 am	If you wanted to have the point scoring the way it was, the same times would have to be re-implemented. Meaning every race would have to be at 0800, or whatever time is implemented, each Saturday and Sunday. This would also reduce the amount of races to compete in. Having a variety of time time slots was to allow more time zone availability and races for players to compete in. This also caused the league to use the average points per week scoring format. If this is what is preferred by most, keeping points for all races, this can be changed for next season.
