this is Battlestar Galactica Deadlock. The game is turn based in that you plot out your move and attack orders then sit back and watch your armada duke it out every turn. This is what I would expect to see in a new darkwind style vehicular combat game. easy to use intuitive interface and sexy 4K textures. I would pay $100 for car combat in this detail with characters towns and camps that can be upgraded and gain skill |

By the way, it was recommended before that Dark-Wind II use the Unity 3D engine which is free to use. This BSG Deadlock game uses Unity. So it looks like it would be the perfect answer.
Darkwind though, is a action game on consoles. I think if a new car wars game is made it should have a new name, and be built from scratch, not try to fix this game, which would require more effort then writing a new game from scratch with unity. Road Wars |

that does seem cool, and i watched a bit of the link and i agree, but what about real time based strategy with built in team speak and hotkeys for targetting? |
