It's like Lego meets Mad Max, with plenty of Car Wars flavor. Crossout Open Beta starts tomorrow!

It's OK if you're into PvP shooter games. It's not really a MMO like they advertise. They have 8 vs 8 battles on about 4 or 5 maps. You gain rep with different factions which lets you craft parts from that faction.

They have PvE, but they limit the amount of PvE events you can enter.

It's a load of fun and the building can be very granular. Starting a clan there. 8 vs 8 player-versus-player matches starting every few minutes and if there aren't enough players the field is filled out by AI competitors. To participate in PVE you need to earn fuel from surviving PVP matches with a gas can on board. The PVP matches are very quick, less than three minutes. The PVE matches run a lot longer.

Over there I'm ThirtyThreeTango, if you see me then just holler and I'll send a salvo your way

Sent ya a friend request.

The game is alot better now it's in Open Beta.

In CBT, no one ever did PvE stuff, so you'd have to wait up to half an hour to get 3 people. Now there's people on all the time.

Also, PvE gets you copper, which is alot more valuable than gas. So, I usually just sell whatever copper I get and buy gas with it. That way, you don't have to PvP if you don't want to.

I dunno if you can trade directly with other people. If you can, I'll give you a better deal than the market.

Haven't found a way, but we could set buy orders and sell to each other that way I think.

Well the game engine is smooth, everything plays pretty well - looks good as well but the controls drive me crazy!!!!

I'm forever crashing into things or losing the targets or both looking and driving in the wrong direction!!!

Wish you had more options on locking the camera/targeting view........

The design and build side of things is quite fun as well

I run into trouble driving in one direction and shooting in the other.  It gets better with practice.
