So a while (years) ago I started capturing some of my favourite shots from DW and messing them in Gimp. There were some plans for a comic based from it all, only got the first chapter done (typical!).

Sure - it's nothing fancy (I'm no artist, digital or otherwise). It's just a filter called "Cartoon" in the "Artistic" dropdown in Gimp. The rest is just framing your shots and playing with the settings. I do it in replays so I can rewind the action - but you loose things like tyre tracks. It's also hard to get shots of weapons firing. Also always try and make sure your mouse pointer is as far out of frame as possible! K |

Epic Thread Necro Time (no not "that" Necro).
So I was digging through some old hard drives as you do over the holiday period and found the work in progress comic. I figured that there was no point in just leaving it sitting on the drive and that some folks may appreciate it, so here is what I'd done - an introduction and first chapter. Introduction Chapter One They're PDF's by the way. I hope those links work. I'm not likely to ever finish it - but it was fun while I was working on it, so enjoy! K |
