Sam "Hey, I just noticed that DW has 39% positive reviews on Steam, which means it's listed as "mostly negative feedback". At 40% this changes to "mixed" which would presumably look much better to anyone browsing onto the DW Steam page".
"So, if anyone who hasn't already voted for DW on Steam could do so, it'd be much appreciated :-) " "thanks.. here's the Steam page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/295710\" HexGrid So your asking the community to support your game with positive reviews, lolz. You have stated numerous times to me and many others "You do not have the time/money/will to develop DW". Then when a select few get upset about a game mechanic that had been there for numerous years, you changed it for the few. As much as I would love to lie my azz off for you, I will not exploit Steam review mechanics to help you tweak your game for your personal friends in game. I have not put in a Steam review and will see what develops from this increased scrutiny of DW by ALL involved. |

At no point does Sam suggest you should do otherwise. Personally I would think Sam is appealing to those who like the game and who have not yet put a positive review up.
To avoid a potential flaming spiral here I will lock this thread. If you wish to debate this, please feel free to message me. |

Thanks Nine, that's exactly it. The game predates its Steam release by many years so I know there are lots of players/ex-players who really like it but who have not reviewed/rated in on Steam simply due to timing. |

I don't have a lot of time for it at the moment, that's true. So you think that makes the game unworthy of being positively reviewed? I don't quite follow your logic.
I assume you're referring to the travel exploit? I removed that entirely out of my own opinion, it was not at the behest of any 'select few'. It was never the intention that anyone could travel without danger across the game world. Frankly, to even suggest that such a 'game mechanic' should stay is ridiculous. |
