Yes, I know you guys have probably discussed this numerous times, but we need input on how to address this. Currently, trashing damaged engines yields nothing.
Should a mech skill above 50 be enough to allow scrap or CPs to be salvageable. Maybe 50 mech skill could salvage items on engines 3.2L and smaller and 100 skill 4L and larger? Another question for you would be, should any damaged engine yield scrap or CPs? Only with engines with 50% damage or less?? Would the amount of damage determine whether its scrap or CPs? Just a few questions to get some ideas for a proposal for Sam. This needs to be possible for Scav because it doesn't make sense that you can trash a weapon and recover a clip of ammo, but can't do the same on an engine. |

can we deal with mech scaling more generally before do this... can we also deal with mech breakdown of chassis and make it match field strips. |

I never placed a priority on this, just wanted it posted now to allow time for players to give opinions. The mech scaling would no doubt tie into this as well.
So, just waiting for you to come up with your list of ideas on what mechs can or cannot do based on their skill level and/or specialisms. If you are looking for additional ideas on that, we should make a new thread. |

Its never bothered me the way it is always have more scrap and CPs than I can use.
It would however be nice to strip a car of all items in town, and have the ability to trash items in bulk. That has even come up in regular DW for camp owners. |
