I finally got a mech up to 50 again and it won't let me b armor or repair chassis. Do I have to wait for week reset or something? I do have required mats

I'm having the same problem. Ever find a solution?
Edit: I'm guessing that it's because the mech is injured...85% of 54 is <50 |

The 50 skill mech can only repair chassis and armor in the town they are in. That means they cannot be out on a scout or travel. When you do try to make your repair and cannot, it will tell you why. Just check to make sure those reasons are fixed before attempting again. (Serious damage cannot be repaired regardless of mech skill)

He's there. I've only got guys in SS and he wasn't on a scout or in an event. He couldn't repair chassis damage nor B armor.
I'm still going with the injury guess. While (I believe) gangers maintain specialisms even if they drop below 50 due to injury, they definitely lose ability. I feel like I've seen this come up before, years ago. |

Only way to know for sure is to get your mech to 59 and try to fix a chassis or do some B armor repairs. It would be a good thing that all Scav players know about this.
If you need some scouting help to get your mech trained up, let me know. |

He's advanced to 55 mech and 91% health (50.05). He can do the work, now!

its always worked that injuries reduce mech and affect scav repairs.
