Ever since I upgraded to 10.10 Yosemite, the game is "sluggish" on my laptop. It still works, but the mouse doesn't react as fast as it used to.
Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions? |

Bump... Sam? Any suggestions?
I'm running the latest Java - doesn't the game run on that? If not, what does it run on so I can make sure I'm up to date? |

It's probably because Yosemite is such a laid back place, where nothing should be rushed. | ||||

I'm running Yosemite on my iMac and haven't had issues. Dunno if that helps. Maybe at least reduces it to a laptop issue?
No techie here. |

Hmm... Could be Video driver related... I'm running 8 gig of Ram, so I know it's not that, and it's the same MacBook Air that was running DW fine at 10.9...
Thanks! Will look into the video side of it! |

have you turned down the game settings in options to see if it speeds up?
anyway jimmy.. i thought you took a 4 hour timeout between each turn... I dread to think what 'sluggish' means to you.... glacial! |

Yes - and it helps only SLIGHTLY... Also, if I command-tab away from the game there's a slight delay there as well.
LOL I have done some looking around and if I could figure out how to turn off beam sync it might help, but so far haven't figured out how to do that... Also, one forum said to put in a max FPS and it seems to help a lot of games. Hopefully Sam can tell me where in the settings to put in a max frame rate. |
