This brings in most of the "in-lobby management" features that I want to add.
It's all launched from your 'My Gang' button, which now lets you browse through characters, vehicles and squads. For characters and vehicles the editing is still done on the website, but squads are now almost entirely controllable from inside the lobby (apart from a few minor options). I have not yet finished the 'integrated ready check' on the squads window, but apart from that it's more or less all there. There's also a new "Meet your gang" feature that I added, which automatically pops up after you have done the tutorial. You can also see it by opening the Help window and clicking the "What Do I Do Next?" link. Let me know if you think this "Meet your gang" feature is useful or not. |

I quite like the meet your gang feature- but after doing the tutorial pretending to be a new player- I did encounter a problem...
Task 11- Target Barneys Pickup. The new size of JD's ugly mug window covers up the ability to click on the MG instruction. You cant minimise JD to click on the MG. Obviously, I got around this problem by right clicking on Barneys PU- to carry on with the tutorial- But new players haven't been told you can do that at this point in the tutorial. Just wanted to point this out SAM - cos I think it might confuse new players. Much Love, Brun. |

Regarding the My Gang button:
I'm not a fan of UI that pops up a new window for every click of the mouse, especially in this case where you are unable to have multiple windows of a type for comparison purposes. Example, I click; My Gang, Vehicles, then a specific vehicle. That vehicle window switches between vehicles if I then click a new vehicle, rather than a second window to compare. For myself, I'd prefer either being able to have multiple windows of a type (vehicles, squads, gangers) or the choices along one side and the selected choice in the same window to the left/right. It just looks less messy. Even better would be for the players to be able to choose between these kinds of UI options in a settings menu. <edit> I just now tried moving windows around and see that the selection (vehicles) and choice are bonded along the edge, effectively making them one window. They just appear to be two due to being different sizes. Maybe at least make them the same size? Also kudos for making the windows movable, so many UIs statically place windows so they can't be moved to reveal information behind them. |

Bug when clicking through vehicles - While clicking through my list of vehicles the client crashed |

Meet My Gang
- A nice continuation from the tutorial. Ive clicked Register on the Race, Morays at SS rally. That looks dangerous! Now what? What do I do while Im waiting? The Meet My gang page said something about racing but I hastily clicked register, can I go back to that page again to read the other descriptions while I wait? Do I go to the web page now? I guess I can chat in the lobby, looks friendly enough, 'cept some guy named goat keeps mouthing everyone off in some foreign language, I think its socialisian. |

was it a particular vehicle, and did it crash when you clicked the same vehicle the next time? |

scripts v.308 is just a couple of little tweaks.
I have stopped the 'lobby scouting' feature for now, as it's still confusing people. What I have in mind going forward would be to integrate it into a new window attached to the 'squad' window. Any member of the squad who's viewing it right now would appear in a list of names as ready/not ready. |

I couldn't say if it was a particular vehicle. I did not try recreate the bug (I should have really, I didn't think of it). I was clicking through my SS list very quickly, not really giving time for one vehicle page to load before clicking the next. |

Ive managed to recreate the above bug by clicking quickly between many vehicles. I've managed to recreate this many times. Vehicles are different every time, and trying again to recreate the crash on the same vehicle has not worked.
<!--Another small thing...--> Using the vehicle page in the client, my Fire Truck shows I have my side mounts backwards on one side. Looking closely you can see the picture also shows this. |

Perhaps I've missed out on a few years of relevant debate Is the plan to eventually make all vehicle and character management available in the client?

Eventually Ayjona, yes. It's a lot of work though..

Well worth waiting for! Hopefully, that is a sentiment you will share, ever after the fact |
