I have had two OSX users saying the new game client won't run for them.
It works fine on both of my Macs. Investigating... |

I have found and removed one problem: OSX doesn't like having an .app zipped by Windows. Now I remember why I always used to do the zipping on a Mac ;-) | ||

so what do I do? I deleted the app and thought it would download again... do I need to manually download? |

you can edit darkwind/client_params.txt set engineVersion: 140 to engineVersion: 0 this forces a re-download |

Worked once on my brand old 2005 iMac with 10.6.8 and crashed on second attempt.
Though, upped menu is always over the game client, hidding toppest part of it. Quite annoying. For the latest I do remind now, it was a bug from Torque. Not sure what my settings were (I wiped the old version). Fullscreen option does crash on me btw. |

I also didn't change any settings but I have very top of client hidden too. Will try full screen since I run browser & Mail etc. full screen. |
