was thinking it might be fun/interesting to start a legit high limit sports book. might be even more fun once the "chrome" currency is implemented. anyway, to kick things off, betting is now open on the exciting final SCL V match of the season, the grudge match between Goat and Grimm/Juan. taking bets up to 100k, odds starting with goat favored at 2:1. if one side doesnt show thats still a bet, but if both dont show it's a no-bet. i'll edit this if anyone other than me thinks this is a good idea and actually bets. also taking a 2:1 side bet on one or the other side not showing up, and 5:1 on both not showing up. | ||||

yes, coe individual weeks and overall, combat league, etc. scl too many no shows, would think money back only if both no show, so basically just follow how the pts are awarded by the system already... (i mean the 3=win 1 or 0=loss etc pts, not demo pts.)
and what is grimm saying? is that the non-sequitur it seems or did i miss something? also i'm hoping this will make these things more visible, draw more spectators, and encourage people to show up more... |

First off, All betting should done similar to the auction system.
The bet amount gets withdrawn from the account immediately and held. Winners will then be paid out directly, minus a 5 - 10% service fee for the house. |

yes, i took yours just to get the ball rolling, but in principle with multiple betters, it'll be parimutuel with 10% to the house. to cover bad debts or some such story and yeah you should have to pay in advance, part of being a good bookie is trust. i hold the money and i always pay, cant say the same for some of you degenerates

I Didn't use anyone with any weapons skill.
1 to 2 points of armor were missing from every location on all of my cars. It was there before the event started so something in the game handicapped me. I was about to bail and report the bug when I realized 2 things. One, no matter who won, 3rd place in the league was no longer a reality. 2, Sam probably won't do anything to set it right. |

ROFL it does indeed... He did use a (now dead) 350 skill driver though 
now that i realise that the abject failure was due to: a) Juan's unusual crew choices and b) an imaginary bug I can see that Juan is a PVP legend. Big and I were very lucky. phew. |
