That was all that could be heard from a large group of Longo's Merry Men. Many wondered what had happened, and it took a few hours before the news left the ranks of the Merry Men gang. The Legendary FREEDOM had been lost. It had been a terrible two wave ambush, and having tried to make a run from the pirates, they had taken heavy fire from a twin Car cannon buzzer, and wisely gave the Legendary vehicle away in exchange for their lives. The Maniax gang had tried to double cross them and rather than free them, had sold them to the Slavers. But the Merry Men had recently befriended the slaver faction, and fortunately this resulted in their release rather than a lengthy run to Firelight and into the Gladiator Pits.

I never thought I would have ever seen the day when FREEDOM would be lost in battle :o But it's accomplishments have been well documented across the plains of Evan.

The News comes in and is initially kept hush hush. The Famous Prototype, the actual prototype of The Legendary FREEDOM, had been taken out in the exact spawn location of her twin. The Merry Men fought valiantly, however at this particular location they have determined that it is escape proof and a complete bottleneck. Unfortunately this time, not even the wealth and influence of Longo could keep the crew from being sold as gladiators in Firelight. Although there were numerous negotiations to keep the fact that Investigator Rico Haas, Legendary Leader of The Merry Men, John "Wade" Boggs, their laser specialist, and "Family" Jewel Warren, one of the best scouts ever to drive in Evan, were indeed in the Pit. The Merry Men knew there would be assassins in The Pit looking to snipe their leader. They had to find support in Firelight. Then appeared some friendly faces looking in from the other side of the bars of the gladiator cages... The F-Bombs and Blood and Iron had come to their aid. And quickly some of the most elite of the Merry Men were free again, to live and fight another day.

OOC - I am open to suggestions on how I could have gotten out of this spawn. I don't think its possible with 1 vehicle, but maybe 2 powerful buzzzers might have a shot...
