With much blood, sweat, & swear words, another season of GW Ped comes to a close. With Latte and Longo triumphing and the stubborn gangers of SSE bringing home a 3rd place showing. Fewer body parts were lost this season, not for lack of parts, as Blossom Whacker, Stewart Griffin, Suk Mang and Dick Rammage were all whole at season's start. It seems many gangs just didnt bother to show up. Evwn Joel and his Bastards made only a paltry and pedestrian attempt, missing the majority of events. Suk, while sucking down a bottle of cactus alcohol wonders if the friendly fire incidents that occured earlier in the year up in Sommerset had anything to do with the lack of interest.

Sandi LeClair looks over to the scruffy ganger closely examining the ped combat results. She sidles over in professional curiosity. She nods at the ganger. "Not many competitors, but then again how many do you need for a foregone conclusion?" She notes his colours. "Oh, you made third. Not bad. We did that once, can't really expect any higher while the snipers are still clogging up the top billing." She grins breifly but it turns sour as she moves down the prize list. "Hmmm, once you are out of the top billing it doesn't seem worth the risk. Money ain't hard to find and there are easier ways." She scratches her head. "Maybe if they offered only hardware prizes they might get more takers, it wouldn't have to be much, maybe some hard to find handguns, it is a ped combat after all."
