*sam* Posted Nov 16, 2011, 10:35 am	No, actually it is drawn from a group pool of all town lockups, starting with SS, and moving on to Elms, GW etc. once the previous town is empty. This is mostly because of the prohibitive database activity that it would take to manage it properly per-town; but also because micro-management of food/water at a per-town lockup would be of questionable benefit to the fun of the game.

I probably fueled some confusion in the past when I suggested it was not the case - I thought so because I got messages saying my gang was starving but had enough food altogether. I think it was because I had food in transit from one town to another which, it seems, doesn't count. GB
