Are slavers the scavs worst enemy?

I currently have 1/3 of my gang in FL.....my best guys BTW. Is it just that we have to look at a slaver scout as a "kill or be killed" type thing. It sucks not being able to get gangers back after they have won freedom. Is it possible or too impractical to have them freed in SS after they win their freedom - in scav mode only? Is that asking too much? Or maybe allow scavs to be ferried by metro or something. It is hard enough to get guys good, it sucks to lose them to FL in good shape still. Tell me what you think.

For me, those taken off to be gladiators are pretty much dead, and I fire them from the gang. Naturally, that is my choice but I don't think any of my characters have been good enough for me to go to the huge hassle of getting them back alive from Firelight.

Would I have it any other way? Not so sure, yes it's a nightmare but I kind of like it like that.

They do add that additional element of 'worst situation ever', but I enjoy it. I even have been known to just run from the fight on the outset to keep the gang alive.

I like the situation as it is. I have felt the frustration so many times getting mechs to 49 just to get captured.

I think the current state of affairs is excellent. Slavers are hated and feared. Just like they should be. When you get a chance, you kill them or you run for all its worth.

The good thing is that we will, if we as a community chooses to, be able to get them back. Not now, and probably not for a while... So for now, while the gang is young I think its a matter of swallowing the tears and kicking them. But if you ever feel like endevouring on getting there and getting out of there in the future, im game!

I kinda agree that slavers being worse in Scav fits with the whole 'hardcore' thing. But it shouldn't be the same as death. When/if Amateur night or ped scouting gets implemented maybe it could happen in FL as well as SS.
Think it would be funny for freed gladiators to win a ride in Amateur night and try to drive home packed four deep into a stripped down Symph lol
Would be even better if freed gladiators were given swords and chainsaws to fight off the bugs when their ride home got killed

Yeah, slavers killed my leader yesterday just after he got his first spec (Recruiter) :(.  He died on the first breach from a CR round.  Can't count on armor as much in Scav because of perma.  Took a 50 point morale hit.

Ive got a plan to get guys out of FL. Its gonna take a month or two though, and a bit of luck. Ive got 3 of 12 in FL myself, inlcuding my leader who has 2 specs and has been there a month already.
