I have just patched in the following (server-side patch):
1. often trader goods will now reflect the local 'common items' of the town; the same rule has been added for Scavenger town prizes 2. in DW:Scavenger, there is now no CR balancing (this is on a trial basis) and pvp can happen on returns 3. A new option is available in squads: 'Passenger Retention' – this lets you decide to keep characters you have in other people's cars stay there when they arrive at town, therefore making multi-stage journeys less hassle |

I see one slight problem with passenger retention mode as it works now. The vehicle that the taxi client is in can be removed from the squad and will still retain the character. The owner can still exit the vehicle any time it's not traveling so I guess it's not a big deal. Just wanted to make note.
I've tested this already today hauling a friends character from slack shack back to somerset. This makes it easy to borrow scouts for travels too. I guess we'll be seeing scouts for hire and driver for hire posts soon. |

Does this mean I can drive my friend's car now? that's uber cool if I can! | ||

Blaer: this patch was about passengers, not car control.
However, if you are a squad member then you should indeed be able to control cars of a squad belonging to other people (if they're not in the event themselves) by rightclicking them and taking control. |
