It's gritty! It's cool! It's almost invisible if you park it under some desert scrub! And the "Cherry Bomb" Marley skin can be yours for probably not much money since nobody drives these things anyway!
Up for auction is a custom Marley skin file. I've developed a thorough hatred for these little buggers, so there's no reason for me to keep the skin. Bidding starts at whatever y'all feel is reasonable and will end whenever interest seems to wane (which could be today for all I know). I do reserve the right to reject the final sale price at my discretion. |

johnny go Posted May 25, 2011, 12:42 pm |
120k | ||
Jeelz Posted May 25, 2011, 4:58 pm |
140k
happy to share with you johnny, but as I am sure you would agree such a rare prize is worth a great many coin! |

johnny go Posted May 25, 2011, 5:01 pm |
We going to team up then?
100k each? |
||
Checkers Posted May 25, 2011, 5:07 pm |
Hey.
I like Marleys. They just kind of got the shaft when the Flash came out. |
||
*JeeTeeOh* Posted May 25, 2011, 7:19 pm |
Is that a mutual bid? I could make $200k the "buy it now" price and let y'all sort out the details. |
||
The Paranoid Tourist Posted May 25, 2011, 7:46 pm |
$200k | ||
*JeeTeeOh* Posted May 25, 2011, 7:51 pm |
Well I guess that answers THAT.
(Okay, so I'm a bit torn on how to proceed here. The $200k bit was specifically intended for J-Go and Jeelz as there appeared nobody else interested. ParaTour then bids a quick $200k. I'll ponder things for a little while...) |

Crazy AL Posted May 25, 2011, 10:50 pm |
Are we paying $200K for the skin or just bidding for the only one? If the latter, $250K.
*JeeTeeOh* Posted May 26, 2011, 12:59 am |
Paying for the only one. And given that there IS interest beyond what was initially here, I'm no longer conflicted. Let the bidding continue!
Never realized anyone actually drove Marleys outside of the events where they're the track-supplied vehicle. Surprise, surprise! |

Okay, the auction will close in 12 hours (server time 16:00) unless there is another bid. In the event of another bid, the auction will close 12 hours after that. And so on until the Rapture. Oh wait. That was last weekend.
The Paranoid Tourist Posted May 26, 2011, 4:08 am |
Nah. The Rapture is in October, now. Dude fumbled his math.
Apparently he had the same problem last time he forecasted the Rapture. You'd think he'd go back over it once or twice, now. |
||
Checkers Posted May 26, 2011, 4:18 am |
Actually, the Rapture was supposed to happen last weekend, according to Harold Camping.
*Bastille* Posted May 26, 2011, 4:40 am |
Im so angry, I had everything prepared. i'll have to sue him now.
|

The Paranoid Tourist Posted May 26, 2011, 4:47 am |
Right, but when it didn't he said that he made a mistake. Last weekend there was some sort of judgment when you were deemed holy or not and your fate was decided upon. Apparently you're now free to do whatever the hell you want to do until the Rapture, which Camping now says is happening in October, because God has already judged you. He's just making money off of religion like... well... nearly everyone else involved in it. |

I have GOT to make a "Rapturemobile."
It'll net me a fortune!! |
||
The Paranoid Tourist Posted May 26, 2011, 2:45 pm |
$275k
Be it known that if I win I'll be paying Sam $10 (RL) so that I can actually use the thing. |

*JeeTeeOh* Posted May 27, 2011, 2:56 am |
Looks like we have a winning bid... from that slaver we all love to hate, The Paranoid Tourist! You may remember him from another winning bid: the Hurst/Olds Pace Car. Errrrmmmm, yeah. Let's hope he has better luck in this'n than he did in the last. Anyway, congratulations to PT, and remember: the militia can't see you now... you're camoflaged! |

Whew. That cleaned me out.
This new car will probably find little use anywhere but the tracks of Evan, but then I might find something useful to do with a Marley out in the wilds. My first order of business will be to paint up what may be the oldest Marley in Evan. "The Robert" VIN: 1329 |
