Whenever I log in, even using the lobby to automatically update I get this:
The version of the Darkwind scripts/media that you are running (v./) is out of date and may cause you problems. Please re-start the lobby program in order to patch it. I also do not have the "monitor gates" option showing where it should under the "Server Messages" box. console.log: Code: Something is definitely amiss and has been for a long time. With this extended PVP going on, I'd like to be able to monitor the gates and such... but can't. |

Do the other buttons show up? |
||
theHumungous Posted Apr 17, 2011, 11:27 pm |
No buttons show under the server messages box.

IIRC, that is also symptom of an incomplete login.
Cable Internet, right? OS X firewall on or off? Router firewall turned on, maybe? |

Cable internet yet,
Those buttons DO show up on windows computers (I just installed it on a Win7 machine - and those buttons are there). OSX firewall is OFF |

Right, something is preventing the login on the Mac. I doubt it is related to your login info. How is the Mac connected to the Internet? |
||
theHumungous Posted Apr 17, 2011, 11:43 pm |
Wirelessly to the router. Just like a windows machine that works fine.
Marrkos Posted Apr 17, 2011, 11:46 pm |
Is this the same Mac you were going to Nuke and Repave way back when?
theHumungous Posted Apr 17, 2011, 11:47 pm |
Yep. And I did nuke and repave...

There's a post around here somewhere where Sam provides a different version of the Java patcher.
Can't find it now, but I'm pretty sure this is file: Version 31 (?) of Patcher |
||
theHumungous Posted Apr 18, 2011, 12:11 am |
It did something... but crashed or closed before any splashscreens. Running the client after that had no changes.
Marrkos Posted Apr 18, 2011, 3:12 am |
I'd run it a couple of times just to be thorough.
I've had the patcher download a bunch of stuff, then on sign in the client tells me I need to update, and then the patcher downloads even more stuff. |

Manually updation can be done and its simple..with the help of wiki updation can be done..but once updation has done some points needs to be checked are: editing page,viewing page and uploading files.

Recommend you partially bury the MAC in the backyard, tape a picture of Saint Steve to it and use it as a shrine. Eventually pilgrims will start showing up and you can charge them for lemonaid. claim you have an artifact in the MAC from Jobs himself and you'll eventually get enough money to buy a nice PC.
Problem solved. |
