Ello,
When this change goes live will I automatically receive greater training from PVP encounters (should any happen) or do I need to set my flag to open? Will doing so increase the chance of as PVP encounter? GB |

Training increases in all pvp encounters, regardless of your flag setting.
If you open your flag, the only change you'll see during the trial is that you will be pvp'able in Elmsfield and Gateway, in addition to the southern towns which we are trialling. |

Sam, not sure if you clarified already - does being PvP flagged help skill training generally in all events? |

Joel- no, it doesn't. This confusion is probably related to the automatic benefits that a camp gets from being open-pvp. |

Well then there is no real benefit to being flagged.
You can still squad challenge right(with your friends)? And milk the in pvp-fight bonus. |

Does not work in squad challenge, just for that reason joel. |

ahhh good, that PM paid off |

Still some milking opportunity though: Keep leaving town with a low scout and have your buddy try and intercept you with a high scout.
Of course this pattern would be easy to detect if Sam is doing any player behavior tracking since you'd see a series of attempts by the same player over and over. And it comes with the risk that the 'low scout' person misses the intercet and runs into an AI gang. |

I think you'll find that this has already been covered in the blood and guts threshold that you have to meet in order to start getting PvP 'extras'. |
