NICE! That's one damn fine newspaper ya got there... even without the kind words about our little paint shop (which are much appreciated, btw). Good work to all involved!

Didn't know Elms was in Arizona. Cool! I'm a DW local! B)

Again, nice job gentlemen.

Not sure about his other teams, but HIS team now in div I has never lost a fight, and only had one car ever demo. (Sadly I cannot be his partner anymore as I have my own Div I team :( )

How about some addictions lists for next issue?
Took one of my Y dudes to rehab to get him off heavy usage. 4 weeks in rehab, one week out, hes back on it for the 4th time.

half my BL crew is in desperate need of AA meetings.

Would really like to see where I stand in the important things in life. :cyclops:

If people send me details of addicted gangsters, how long, addiction, etc.

I can add a ' best of the worst ' column ;)

I had all but forgotten about the Road to Firelight. Of all the pieces, this was one of those I enjoyed penning the most.

Thanks for reviving it, bringing a tear to the eye of an old Gazette serf employee, and sending Glenda Dickinson into a violent seizure of long-forgotten terror from which she may not soon return...

Yes, of all the people I've worked alongside as a journalist (even in circumstances as trivial and hobbyist as these), he was possibly the most talented wordsmith and text artist in humorous contexts.

He wasn't involved in the Road to Firelight, though, for otherwise it'd probably have involved less of stygian oceans of sliding dead, and more of Crabby's ineffable wisdom ;)

Now I want to be difficult, but are you *sure* you wrote that report from Firelight, Grog?

What report ? i dont play with the gazette anymore, as nobody could be arsed helping or contributing.

If it has my name on it, thats probably just left over code from where i use cop and paste, its obvious i have not written it as its just a re hash from an old gazette.

But as i said, nowt to do with me anymore

The Gazette is looking for a sucker contibuter to write up road tests.

How to handle in the sand

How to take a dune at 60mph

How to handle Car CannonFire and hide that breached side

Best racelines for a track

Good setups

If you think you're gullable good enough to provide such information, than the gazette will happily pay you in bottle tops.

Sounds like a great Job for Firefly. He can make those nifty illustrative animated gifs and he's always eager to share his expertise and advice about what works well and how best to do things with others.

So its agreed! A tough debate, but we eventually came to a conclusion.

Firefly, you have till Saturday midday to get in your first report. - driving a .6L buggy from badlands to firelight - ;)
