"Unearthing Arcana" mission, possible bug (minor spoilers)

So I've been pursuing the "Unearthing Arcana" mission and discovered what could be a bug. I reached the stage at which you are supposed to perform an assassination mission against Tusk.

I launched several scouts against Tusk (five in total, I believe) and not once did the assassination target show up. Is this a bug?

Also, under the "my missions" screen, it said I had until 9/18 to complete this stage, yet on the in-town mission text it said I had until 9/20. After 9/18, the "assassination" mission on the top part of the "my missions" page was present; after 9/18 it disappeared and I received the "failed a mission" message on the MyGang page. But I still had the mission listed as valid on the "narrative missions" part of the "my missions" screen after that time, and that did not change from "stage 6" to "failed" until 9/20. So there's clearly some kind of a disconnect there.

I had the same issues with this NM but couldn't even target the correct gang as they never showed up as a target.

Also, the mission did close sooner then I was told in the mission briefing I had to complete it, by like 5 days or so.

Had the same problems... except mine was Crusaders. I rolled out what must have been close to 30 times against Raiders to fight them 9 times or so, with no leader. Narrative mission said one time allowed, and the actual assassination mission only gave me 2 days I think.

There's clearly still problems getting the gang leader, or temporary leader, identified.. sorry.

With regard to the dates: the assassination mission is created as a separate entity to the narrative mission, so their dates are different - I can see how this is confusing.. will see if I can rectify that.

I fixed this last week: you'll always get a gang as a target if you have an assassination open on them, regardless of their current fame.
