Volvo_13 Posted Mar 23, 2010, 12:44 pm	So got into a little scuffle with the boys last night S191136 - road to elmsfield So based on the layout of the map, the amount of newbishness I felt we all had, the zero amount of SUV's on our team, and the smattering of NPC muscle.... I thought that we wouldn't make it to the bowl that everyone was heading for. Coolerheads and I broke off left from our pack in a move that I felt would confuse the enemy, and help string them out a bit as we split up. 2 cars followed us, 2 cars got stuck way back, and the rest followed the other guys to the bowl of death. So in my opinion I did the right thing by trying to draw out and split up the enemy group. Cooler and I engaged the Battleaxe and the EE that I brought up behind us... we turtled and demo's the battleaxe before it got behind the rest of our guys.. the EE slipped through and I think it got one or two shots off at the line of cars before I balsted it off the edge of the bowl into the air. OK maybe it did fly through the air and smack into -HARS- pho... but still... none of us died. Anyway... point is, after all the cranky talking "First time I ever saw anyone bring in cars behind us...." etc. We made it, I helped split the enemy pack up, we're newbies and need to communicate about strategy better, and it all worked out in the end. HAR_Flattire Posted Mar 23, 2010, 4:19 pm	It's all good Volvo. The 'flying' EE didn't hit my car it only came close. I thought it was hilarious watching him fly over me since that's not something you see every day. Everything worked out and I had no problem with the strategy that was run. That sort of thing can and will happen. The AI didn't do what we thought they would do 100% and that is generally when things start to differ from the plan. As far as I am concerned, we lived.....they didn't, and that is the main thing. I usually try and watch the whole map just in case but I didn't on that scout. Someone said, 'where'd that EE get behind us', and I saw it getting blasted and flying through the air so that was surprising. Honestly, I wouldn't have cared if it did hit me. That is different that someone blatantly shooting at a teammate or running them off a hillside. Anyway, good scout from my perspective.
