There is no more storied ganger in the history of The Black Legion the James `The Outlaw` Kinlaw. He came to the Legion as a middling Driver and was assigned to running trade vehicles around Evan for the Legion. Soon he was promoted into driving Box Vans solo around the continent, and eventually his skills were so great that the Legion was able to move entire convoys across Evan almost unmolested.
James almost died once during a routine fuel run through the area known as Oil Slick. One second looking at the slow moving Lorries instead of the road dropped him almost 80m down under the oil. The drop almost killed him, and when it didn`t the pursuing gang sent three vehicles down after him. Gunners of the Legion who are all now dead expended nearly all of their ammo in the attempt to save him. He returned to town almost dead, and with one arm lost. After that he ran into a string of bad luck, breaking ribs twice while pushing his luck before he settled back to his usually skilled self.
More recently, James led the Legion to their first capture of an enemy Fire Engine, and helped to guide the squads that used it, first running fuel convoys and then once again scouting the dangerous southern regions.
James is nearing the end of his natural life, and is working to put together a final convoy squad to guide before his weakened body finally gives up on him. If he is successful, it would mark the first time in history that the Legion has had enough skilled gangers to run convoys and scouting squad simultaneously out of southern Evan.
James died peacefully while bringing a load of fuel into Somerset during a six month vacation of the gang. |
